About
Psychotherapy with Wendy Brown, MFT, CGP*
As a therapist, I feel privileged to help people understand themselves and what is truly important to them. I help people feel better and function better in life, which improves the quality of their connections and their ability to enjoy themselves.
I am a Marriage & Family Therapist (MFT), practicing in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1997. My education and clinical focus center on helping people improve both personal and work relationships. I enjoy working with adults who want to make changes in their lives – whether I am working with individuals, couples or families; whether the relationship is with yourself or with others.
I completed my Master’s Degree in Psychology from New College of California in 1997. I am a Certified Group Therapist (CGP) and have extensive training in Couples Therapy.
I think that this poem captures the spirit of the therapy journey.
Perhaps it will resonate with you.
Wonder to My Eyes
I wonder if I could
be what I want to be.
I wonder if I could
be as wonderful as I want.
I wonder if the world
won’t pick on me anymore.
I just want to be
wonderful to my eyes.
